History
VTA originated in South Florida in 1968 when the videotape industry was still in its infancy. It was the brainchild of owner Ken Chambliss, a video engineer who, while working for WCKT in Miami, recognized the need for a broadcast quality editing facility in the area. In 1977, the company’s explosive success prompted a move to the growing Atlanta market where Ken built a state-of-the art 40,000 sq. ft. facility that garnered the industry’s Best Facility Design award in 1987. After a 27-year absence from the South Florida market, we opened the doors to our 7,000 sq. ft. Hollywood facility, making it possible to better serve clients throughout the Southeast region from bookend locations.
Today, the VTA family is comprised of a talented team of editors, producers, designers and production specialists who continue to hone their craft on a wide range of media projects including broadcast commercials, independent films, documentaries, music videos, image marketing and corporate communications. Our creative product is the cornerstone of our longevity as evidenced by industry recognition in Adweek, AdAge, Addy Awards, Emmy Awards, Forbes Magazine, GD USA and Graphis, among others.
Throughout the years, a relentless commitment to quality and client service has played a key role in our success. With that same dedication, we continue collaborating with clients in order to provide them with the most creative and effective solutions for their needs.
